Oakville Catholic Trustee Candidate Giuseppe Peritore believes:

 

• Catholic education is a gift and deserves to be protected,

• Our children need to be empowered with the knowledge to understand and defend our Catholic faith,

• Teachers need to be supported with the proper tools and training, 

• Parents of school-aged children best understand the needs in our schools,

• Schools need to be safe, welcoming learning environments for all children,

• Effective communication between parents, teachers and your school board is an expectation,

• Having single-source student uniform suppliers is wrong,

• In role-modeling Catholicity and Canadian pride in our schools

• In Trustees who are accessible & respond to your needs

• In a School Board that is open, transparent and accountable

 

Giuseppe feels that a strong parent, school, parish, community partnership is the key to successful Catholic Education in Ontario.
