PERITORE

Giuseppe Peritore is the youngest of three children born to Lina and Gaetano Peritore.  After the passing of her husband, Lina raised Giuseppe and his two siblings, Enza and Jerry, with the support of the Barnabite Fathers of St. James Parish and the teachers at St. James Catholic Elementary School.  

 

After completing his Honours B.Sc. degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, Giuseppe married his elementary school sweetheart, Rita Lavalle.  He then went on to complete his Honours B.Sc. in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and began working as a Physiotherapist at Trillium Health Partners.   

 

Giuseppe now works at Trillium Health Partners as a Clinical Informatics Analyst helping implement new technologies such as eWhiteboards, online documentation and facilitating the use of smartphones and tablets to help clinicians do their work.  He understands the importance of people and process, when changes are introduced.
